Chad Alberson

Chad Alberson

Chad brings nearly a decade of benefits experience with him to Spectrum. Initially cutting his teeth in health insurance with a Fortune 500 company as a wholesaler, he had to learn to navigate health care reform early in his career and has then ridden the waves of ongoing market changes. This has uniquely equipped him for his role with Spectrum Benefits. Working with brokers of all demographics has given him a diverse market view and complete understanding of options and uncommon opportunities for brokers and their clients.

Chad grew up in Stephenville, TX holds his B.B.A. from Rawls College at Texas Tech University in Marketing and Management where he served as Chancellor of Delta Sigma Pi, an elite business fraternity. Chad recently married his wife, Judy and they now live in Plano where they are involved with the community.  Chad enjoys playing softball, basketball and chasing his golf ball through the trees.

Brian Bessellieu

Brian Bessellieu

A Dallas native, Brian has a unique, decade-long relationship with the DFW marketplace. His focus has long been identifying and fulfilling client needs.  He was trained in the consultative, or needs-based, selling approach. This approach allows Brian to act as an “assistant buyer” for his clients. Currently, Brian is consulting with multi-industry groups and guiding their employee benefit offering needs from group medical to ancillary to retirement.

Brian holds his B.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin. This is where he met his wife, Peggy. And where his youngest daughter, Mimi, is now in attendance.  The elder daughter rebelled and now he, on occasion, shouts “Roll Tide!”

Brian is an active member of Park Cities Presbyterian Church. He and his family are involved with several community groups and events including Habitat for Humanity, Helping Hands, Boxes of Blessing, Lemonade Day, and Carry the Load. Brian enjoys softball, road cycling, and golf, and he has an acute appetite for the guitar.

Tim Cleveland

Tim Cleveland

The founding partner of Spectrum Benefits delayed his career in insurance by first aligning with the Telecommunications industry where he learned to bring solutions to the forefront of annualized spending projections.  His initial insurance experience was in individual, door-to-door selling. The intimate relationships forged between clients and costs has helped Tim work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and has helped him develop strategies to make the health benefits process as cost-efficient and effective as possible.

Tim earned his Bachelors of Science degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce where he also played Division II basketball. Originally from Forney, Texas, Tim blends his newly acquired Metropolitan thinking with his East Texas roots to produce a genuine business ethic.

Tim’s wife Gabriella first noticed his genuineness, and from that first impression grew a true love. They live in Dallas with their son Noah and their four-legged baby, Bella.  Tim is involved in the community and enjoys all things golf and, of course, basketball.

Fred has 23 years of benefits administration experience in the nonprofit world, culminating with National Director of Human Resources. In this capacity, he kept benefits affordable and beneficial for over 10,000 employees and 20,000 dependents. Born in Iowa and a graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, NE, Fred provides his clients the sensibility only a true Midwesterner may offer. He shares a passion for motorcycles, flying and most things outdoors with his beautiful wife Melanie and their two daughters. He served as a MedEvac helicopter pilot and section leader in Operation Desert Storm, and he now volunteers with various veterans’ organizations and his church.
